A neighborhood chocolatier
Every neighborhood should have its own artisan chocolatier.
Because chocolate isn’t just a treat, it’s a bond. A small, everyday luxury that brings people together, brightens celebrations as well as simple moments, and feeds both curiosity and delight.
That’s the spirit in which Denver Williams was born, just steps from the Canal Saint-Martin. Since 2017, our shop has been both a workshop and a destination, a place to stop by, whether to choose a few chocolates, chat for a while, or watch the making process unfold. Here, everything is handmade, in plain sight, with care and passion.
At the heart of this adventure are Jed Jordan, artisan chocolatier trained by French masters, and his husband Frédéric Bichon, a journalist. Together, they set out to create a living, welcoming chocolaterie, one filled with craft, stories, laughter, and the warm scent of sugar that now belongs to the neighborhood.
Our creations reflect that cosmopolitan blend: American boldness and French precision. Recipes inspired by travels and encounters, yet always grounded in a simple idea: chocolate should be a shared pleasure.
As for Denver Williams, he was Jed’s grandfather. He was the first in the family to travel from the Midwest to Paris in 1945, and the one who guided Jed’s very first steps into confectionery.
French tradition, American audacity
Today, Denver Williams is a small, dedicated team driven by the same conviction: to offer everyone an experience that’s genuine, generous, and free of pretension.
Just as a neighborhood chocolatier should be.
